Mainstream Renewable Power is undertaking planned survey work in the sea off the coast of East Lothian near to Thorntonloch Beach from Thursday 17th October for approximately 2 weeks.
The work relates to the route of an offshore, undersea electricity cable from the proposed 450MW Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm to the onshore National Grid connection.
The assessments will consist of soil tests on the seabed and the beach will remain open throughout the survey.
